Artwork for us
PlasTech Print has an Apple Macintosh based design unit.
To ensure speedy manufacture of printed products, please follow the following guidelines.
Artwork is preferred as an Apple Macintosh computer file on 3.5 Floppy Disk, 3.5 Optical Disc, Syquest Cartridge, C.D. ROM, Zip Disc or via email to ptpartroom@btconnect.com and should be one of the following software packages:
- Quark Express
- Freehand
- Adobe Photoshop
- Claris Works
- Adobe Illustrator
- Corel Draw (if exported to Illustrator)
Please Check:
- That any fonts included with your file, are correct and not substituted. If this is not the case, convert your document to paths.
- All scans/tiffs/EPS are present with your file.
- All half tones are not finer than 75 dots per inch and between 20% and 70% tone.
- Areas where seperate colours butt up to each other have at least 0.5mm trap/overlap for registration.
- Any text/addresses and telephone numbers etc. have been proof read.
Artwork will still be acceptable as film positives or bromides.
The following formats are not acceptable for artwork because of their low resolution:
GIF, RAW, PDF, JPEG.
An extra charge will be made when we prepare artwork.
